Iraco was founded in 2006 by Sigurður Jóelsson, owner and managing director.



Iraco is a reliable export company, focusing on extremely fresh, high quality products from the rich and MSC certified sustainable fishing grounds all around Iceland. 
At Iraco, our goal is to build and maintain good and close relationships with our customers, based on our core values of mutual trust and cooperation. 


By working closely with fishermen and vessels, as well as attending the everyday auctions on the Icelandic fish markets, Iraco carefully selects the best quality available at any given time, in accordance to their customer’s needs.

Our head office is in Hafnarfjörður, a port town located on the southwest coast of Iceland, about 10 km south of Reykjavík.
